The invention relates to the field of lock catches. A press type lock catch with a locking mechanism comprises a press type lock catch body, wherein the press type lock catch body comprises a housing and a lock rod; the top of the lock rod is exposed out of the housing; and a spiral groove is formed in the side wall of the lock rod. The press type lock catch further comprises the locking mechanism, wherein the locking mechanism is fixed in the housing in a position-limiting manner; the locking mechanism comprises a support; the support is connected with a locking piece in a sliding manner; the locking piece is connected to a driving mechanism; the driving mechanism is mounted in the housing; a position-limiting groove for embedding the locking piece is formed in the lock rod; the position-limiting groove is positioned above the spiral groove; and the support is provided with a position-limiting protrusion used for being embedded in the spiral groove. Through structural optimization of the press type lock catch and additional arrangement of the locking mechanism, mistaken opening of the press type lock catch in a locked state is avoided.
