The invention discloses a geotechnical engineering construction supporting and protecting device. The device comprises a main body, an auxiliary supporting mechanism, an assembly type protecting mechanism, a height assembling and connecting mechanism and a reinforcing type supporting mechanism, wherein the auxiliary supporting mechanism is arranged at the bottom of the outer side of the main body, and the assembly type protecting mechanism is arranged on the outer side of the main body; a height assembling mechanism is assembled above the main body, and reinforced supporting mechanisms are arranged at two ends of the inner side of the main body; the auxiliary supporting mechanism comprises a reserved opening formed in the lower portion of one side of the main body; and a rotating assembly is assembled in the middle of the reserved opening. According to the supporting and protecting device for geotechnical engineering construction, when the bottom side of the fixing plate is attached to a rock-soil layer, a user can insert an inserting rod into a reserved middle groove formed in a top end of a connecting rod for auxiliary limiting, even if the rock-soil layer collapses slightly, the outer side of the main body can be counterweighted and reinforced, and both sides can achieve a supporting effect.
