The invention discloses an anti-pinch mechanism for a sliding door of an automobile. Strip-shaped anti-pinch pads are vertically arranged on the opposite surfaces of a vehicle front side door frame of a sliding door frame and a sliding door body, at least two arc-shaped rotating arms are arranged in the opposite surfaces of the side door frame and the sliding door body, one end of each arc-shaped rotating arm is fixed to a hinge in the side door frame or the sliding door body, the other end of the arc-shaped rotating arm is connected with an anti-skid pad, and a first torsional spring is fixed to the hinge. When the sliding door is closed, the anti-pinch pads on the side door frame and the sliding door body extrude each other to enable the first torsional spring to be in a force storage state, and when the sliding door is opened, the first torsion spring releases torsion to push out the anti-pinch pads on the side door frame and the sliding door body in opposite directions.
