The invention relates to a double-hearth heat accumulating type lime kiln which comprises two kiln bodies with vertical kiln hearths, the two vertical kiln hearths are communicated through a connecting channel, the cross section of each vertical kiln hearth is circular, and each vertical kiln hearth is divided into a preheating area, a roasting area and a cooling area from top to bottom. The inner wall of the upper part of the kiln body corresponding to the preheating area is a first conical surface with the diameter gradually expanding downwards, the inner wall of the middle part of the kiln body corresponding to the preheating area is a first cylindrical surface, and the inner wall of the lower part of the kiln body corresponding to the preheating area is a second conical surface with the diameter gradually expanding downwards.
