The invention discloses an expressway medial strip portal protective guardrail. The guardrail comprises a fixing mechanism and a first sliding frame connected to the fixing mechanism in a sliding mode, a wave-shaped beam is fixedly connected to the first sliding frame, a second sliding frame is connected to the first sliding frame in a sliding mode, the second sliding frame is connected with the fixing mechanism through a connecting rod, a transmission mechanism is arranged on the first sliding frame,the upper portion of the first sliding frame is rotationally connected with a plurality of buffering mechanisms, the lower ends of the buffering mechanisms are rotationally connected to the connecting frame, the transmission mechanism is arranged on the first sliding frame, supporting columns are fixedly connected to the two sides of the fixing mechanism through bolts, and an embedded part is arranged on the lower side of each supporting column. After the vehicle is impacted, the included angle between the buffering mechanisms and the road surface can be changed through mutual cooperation of all the components, new downward thrust is provided for the vehicle through rotation of rolling wheels to increase friction force between the vehicle and the road surface, and then the controllability of the vehicle after being impacted is improved.
