The invention relates to a photovoltaic support variable cross-section modulus stand column and a processing method thereof, the variable cross-section modulus stand column comprises a uniform-cross-section column body part and leg parts which are arranged at the bottom of the column body part and are symmetrically separated along the center line of the column body part, and the cross section of each leg part is away from a neutral axis. The distance between the section of the leg part and the neutral axis is gradually increased from top to bottom, and the bottom of the leg part is connected to a column foot plate. The symmetrically separated leg parts are arranged at the bottom of the uniform-section column body part, so that the bending-resistant section modulus of the leg parts is greatly improved on the premise of not increasing or slightly increasing column metal materials, namely, the resistance bending moment of the lower part of the column can be greatly improved, and therefore, under the condition that the bottom requires a determined value of the resistance bending moment, the bending moment of the column can be greatly reduced. The consumption of metal materials is reduced, and the compression resistance and bending resistance are improved.
