The steel structure quakeproof stand column comprises a steel pipe and a spine body, a center shaft is rotationally installed at the top of the spine body, and a reinforcing assembly is arranged in the steel pipe. The reinforcing assembly comprises a fixing block, a telescopic sleeve rod fixed to the bottom face of the fixing block, a connecting block fixed to the end, away from the fixing block, of the telescopic sleeve rod, and an inserting rod fixed to the side wall, close to one side of the fixing block, of the connecting block. The surface of the side, close to the fixing block, of the connecting block is parallel to the bottom face of the fixing block, the length direction of the inserting rod is parallel to the extending direction of the telescopic sleeve rod, and a penetrating hole allowing the inserting rod to penetrate is formed in the side wall of the steel pipe. The center shaft is provided with two sections of threads which are equal in thread pitch and opposite in rotation direction, and the steel pipe is provided with a driving mechanism used for driving the inserting rod to penetrate out of the penetrating hole. According to the scheme, the driving mechanism can drive the inserting rod to penetrate out of the penetrating hole, so that the inserting rod is inserted into the soil layer, the ground gripping capacity of the steel pipe is enhanced, the stability of the steel pipe in the using process is improved, and the anti-seismic effect of the steel pipe is enhanced.
