The road traffic flow metering system comprises a mounting shell, wherein a movable mounting block is slidably mounted in an upper end face of the mounting shell, and a bearing block is arranged on a lower end face of the movable mounting block; the traffic flow is calculated through the pressure of the vehicle passing through the speed bump, counting of the traffic flow is achieved through a mechanical structure, cost is saved, maintenance is convenient, a piston is driven to move through the pressure of the vehicle passing through the speed bump, kinetic energy of the vehicle passing through the speed bump is converted into electric energy to be stored, the energy is used for information transmission of traffic flow metering and other power supply on a road, and a traditional solid deceleration strip is replaced by the hydraulic oil, so bumping of the vehicle passing through the deceleration strip is reduced when the vehicle runs at a safe speed, and the comfort of passengers is improved.
