The invention provides a lifting mechanism of a bridge pier column climbing machine. The lifting mechanism comprises a mounting frame, a first air cylinder, a second air cylinder, a sliding part, a connecting frame and a friction plate. The sliding part is connected to the mounting frame in a sliding manner; the connecting frame is sequentially provided with a first connecting part, a second connecting part, a third connecting part and a fourth connecting part from front to back; the third connecting part is hinged to the sliding part; the first air cylinder is fixed to the mounting frame, and the power output end is hinged to the first connecting part to drive the first connecting part to ascend and descend; the second air cylinder is fixed to the sliding part, and the power output end of the second air cylinder is hinged to the second connecting part; and the friction plate is hinged to the fourth connecting part. The mechanism can stably drive the column climbing machine to ascend and descend on the pier column.
