The invention discloses an intelligent guardrail with a state monitoring function. The intelligent guardrail comprises a guardrail, a guardrail state detection device, a base station and a remote cloud platform; the guardrail is provided with an open circuit detection line for detecting the on-off of the guardrail; the guardrail state detection device is installed on the guardrail and comprises a main control module, an open circuit detection module, an impact sensor, a power management module, a communication module, a positioning module and an alarm module; the main control module sends a signal carrying monitoring information of the open circuit detection module, impact information detected by the impact sensor and identity information of the guardrail state detection equipment to a remote cloud platform through the wireless communication module; the base station is used for reporting the guardrail abnormal information detected by the device and receiving a parameter configuration instruction; and the remote cloud platform is used for issuing a parameter configuration instruction of the device and receiving guardrail abnormal information detected by the device. According to the invention, security vulnerabilities can be monitored and warned in time, and the manpower patrol cost and the occurrence of security accidents are effectively reduced.
