The invention provides rail welding base steel rail welding joint automatic slow cooling equipment, which comprises a PLC control system, a fan is installed on a moving trolley, a steel rail temperature measuring probe is installed on an air spraying head of the fan, a rotary encoder is installed on a wheel shaft of the moving trolley, and the rotary encoder and the steel rail temperature measuring probe are connected with the PLC control system, according to the relation between the welding head temperature measured by the steel rail temperature measuring probe and the displacement value of the encoder, the PLC control system is driven to control the movement of the moving trolley through a variable frequency motor, so that the air spraying head of the fan is aligned with a steel rail welding head; an air inlet of the fan is provided with an environment temperature measuring probe, the environment temperature measuring probe is connected with the PLC control system, the fan is connected with the PLC control system through a frequency converter, and the PLC control system controls the frequency of the frequency converter through the environment temperature measured by the environment temperature measuring probe so that the cooling speed of the welding head is constant. When the steel rail welding head enters an aging table, the temperature of the steel rail welding head meets the stipulation of steel rail welding technical conditions.
