The invention relates to filtering equipment, in particular to municipal sewage draining and filtering equipment. The technical problem of the invention is to provide the municipal sewage draining and filtering equipment which can automatically clean a filter screen and can block sewage when the filter screen is cleaned. The municipal sewage draining and filtering equipment comprises a base and a mounting frame, wherein the mounting frame is arranged at the top of the base; a first filter screen, which is arranged at the lower part of the inner side of the mounting frame in a sliding manner; four first springs, which are uniformly arranged between the first filter screen and the mounting frame at intervals; a water draining mechanism, which is arranged at the top of the mounting frame; and a cleaning mechanism, which is arranged at the lower part of one side of the mounting frame. Through cooperation of the cleaning brush, the drainage mechanism and the cleaning mechanism, sewage can be filtered for the second time, and then the cleaning brush can be used for cleaning the first filter screen.
