The invention discloses a deformation joint waterproof structure and method, and belongs to the technical field of building waterproofing, the deformation joint waterproof structure comprises a first concrete plate and a second concrete plate, when the first concrete plate and the second concrete plate are poured, an XPS template of not less than 45 kg/m<3> is pre-buried at a deformation joint, and the deformation joint is formed between the first concrete plate and the second concrete plate; an M-shaped rubber and plastic foam water-stop belt is arranged in the deformation joint, the lower portion of the M-shaped rubber and plastic foam water-stop belt is made to be tightly attached to the pre-buried XPS template, and the two sides of the M-shaped rubber and plastic foam water-stop belt are fixedly bonded to the side wall of the deformation joint through a waterproof adhesive; after the adhesive reaches the strength, the M-shaped rubber and plastic foam water stop belt is covered with a high-density polyethylene protection plate so as to protect the water stop belt; and a channel steel gland which is as long as the deformation joint is arranged on a roulette on the high-density polyethylene protection plate, and the two sides of the channel steel gland are anchored in a sliding mode through anti-pulling anchor bolts. Chemical sealing is adopted for anti-seepage sealing, perforation channel steel is adopted for resisting hydrostatic pressure, angle steel anchoring is additionally arranged on the two sides, and the chemical sealing and the perforation channel steel are combined to form a sealing compression-resistant structure.
