The invention discloses a fireproof heat preservation safety type steel structure which comprises a fireproof cover, a base, a channel steel structure body, a fastening mechanism, a pair of connecting mechanisms and a water tank, a water storage cavity is formed in the channel steel structure body, and the fastening mechanism comprises a rectangular block, a gear transmission mechanism, a pair of pushing mechanisms and a pair of fastening assemblies. The connecting mechanism comprises a pair of swing limiting blocks, a pair of buffering moving mechanisms and a pair of inserting rods, the swing limiting blocks are hinged to the corresponding inner side walls of a containing groove respectively, the inserting rods are fixedly connected with the corresponding buffering moving mechanisms respectively, and the water tank is installed at the upper end of the base. The water tank is externally connected with a water inlet pipe communicated with the water storage cavity. Due to the fact that the fireproof cover, the fastening mechanism and the connecting mechanisms are arranged in the device, safety protection can be conducted on the steel structure body, the steel structure can be firmly installed in the fireproof cover, and the service life is prolonged.
