The invention discloses a method for reinforcing and heightening a round structure pool by a prestressed concrete technology. The method comprises the following steps that a plurality of prestressed ring beams are set around the outer side of an original pool wall of a pool, a plurality of anchoring ribs extending along the vertical direction on the outer side of the original pool wall of the pool are set, a prestressed tendon is set in each prestressed ring beam, and a plurality of anchoring ribs are set in each prestressed ring beam; tail ends of the prestressed tendons penetrate through the anchoring ribs; the prestressed tendons are tensioned, the tail ends of the prestressed tendons are anchored to the anchoring ribs, and the exposed parts of the prestressed tendons are subjected to anti-corrosion sealing treatment; heightening component construction is conducted, and heightening components comprise pool walls, walkway plates, center cylinders, water outlet wells and mud outlet wells, and the original positions of the water outlet wells are heightened. According to the method for the circular pool, the stress condition of the circular pool is remarkably improved through small engineering amount, so the bearing capacity of the circular pool is improved, the effects of reinforcing and processing capacity improvement of the pool are achieved, and the reinforcing and heightening transformation method for the circular pool is simple and reliable in structure, convenient to construct, small in engineering amount and low in cost.
