A hanging device of a sliding door and the sliding door comprise a sliding assembly, a hanging piece and a fixing base and further comprise a non-return piece and a fixing screw. The hanging piece comprises a screw rod part located at the upper part, a tool rotating part arranged in the middle, a rod part and a hanging head part, the screw rod part is screwed with a screw hole of the pulley seat, the rod part is located at the hanging hole part through the circular insertion hole part and the guide leading-in part, the hanging head part is in supporting fit with a bottom plate of the hanging hole part, and the non-return piece is inserted into the circular insertion hole part and the guide leading-in part; the fixing screws penetrate through the fixing holes, and the heads are located in counter bores at the upper ends of the fixing holes. The sliding door comprises a top transverse guide rail part, a side frame edge, two sliding door bodies and a hanging device, wherein each sliding door body comprises a glass door main body, a top door edge, a bottom door edge and a side door edge; hanging devices are arranged at two ends of the top of the sliding door body; the hanging piece is of a structure comprising a screw rod part, a rotating part, a rod part and a hanging head part, and the pulley assembly and the fixing base of the hanging piece are convenient to assemble.
