The invention provides a protective cover and an in-wall shower faucet, and the protective cover comprises a shell which covers a valve assembly; the shell is provided with at least one clamping piece, and the clamping piece is clamped to the valve assembly. The clamping piece comprises a first cantilever, a second cantilever and a third cantilever, the first cantilever, the second cantilever and the third cantilever are connected to the same end and define a first pivot point, the tail end of the first cantilever is connected to the shell and defines a second pivot point, and the tail end of the third cantilever is clamped to the valve assembly. When the tail end of the second cantilever is stressed to be far away from the second pivot point or is stressed to be close to the second pivot point, the tail end of the third cantilever leaves the valve assembly. According to the technical scheme, the protective cover and the in-wall shower faucet can be manually and rapidly mounted and dismounted without screws and tools.
