The invention discloses a general connecting piece for a fabricated building steel structure frame. The general connecting piece comprises a connecting piece body, six locking assemblies for locking the frame are arranged in the connecting piece body, a fixing cover is arranged on the upper side of the connecting piece body, a bearing table is fixed to the right end face of the fixing cover, and a lifting assembly for lifting the frame is arranged on the upper side of the bearing table; steel pipes are quickly locked through the locking assemblies, the building speed of a steel structure frame is increased, meanwhile, the steel pipes are lifted through lifting wheels in the lifting assemblies, one person can complete frame building in cooperation with the locking function of limiting wheels, the safety of the steel pipes in the upward lifting process is improved, and the construction efficiency of the steel structure frame is improved. When the tail end of the lower side of the steel pipe moves upwards into a lifting cavity, the steel pipe is pushed leftwards to the position above a steel pipe locking cavity on the upper side, an electromagnet is started at the moment, a magnetic limiting pin is disengaged from a limiting gear, the steel pipe moves downwards into the steel pipe locking cavity on the upper side under the action of the gravity of the steel pipe, and therefore the upward building process of the frame is completed; and the construction efficiency of the steel pipe frame is improved.
