CONNECTOR DEVICE AND METHOD FOR WINDOWING ROOF WINDOW DEVICE
The invention relates to a connector device and a method for protecting a roof window device against wind and rain. A connector device for a guard assembly for use in a roof window device is disclosed. The connector device includes a base connector element, a facade element, and a top connector element. The two connector elements have grooves in their outer sides, and the grooves are open at one end such that water can be discharged from the grooves. An attachment section on an inner side of the base connector element is configured to be attached to a bracket for connecting the roof window to a load bearing structure, and the facade element supports the top connector element such that the top connector element is positioned above the base connector element. In the mounted state, the second end of the top connector element is arranged over the groove of the base connector element, and the length directions of the top connector element and the base connector element extend substantially parallel to each other. A method for protecting a roof window arrangement against wind and rain is also disclosed.

The invention relates to a connector device and a method for protecting a roof window device against wind and rain.
