The invention relates to the technical field of building materials, in particular to a grouting material for reinforcing a silty-fine sand layer and a preparation method thereof.The grouting material is prepared by mixing 35-45 parts of water glass and 10-30 parts of ethyl acetate emulsion, the viscosity of the ethyl acetate emulsion is 7-15 mPa.s, and the particle size of ethyl acetate is smaller than or equal to 0.75 micron. The grouting material prepared by mixing the ethyl acetate emulsion with specific viscosity and specific particle size and a specific amount of water glass has the characteristics of low initial viscosity, high fluidity and stable diffusion radius, the curing time is proper, and the solidified grouting material has excellent mechanical properties and can meet the requirements of the silty-fine sand layer reinforcement construction process on the grouting material.
