The invention provides a connector and method for connecting unbonded prestressed steel strands in a post-cast strip. The connector comprises a first anchor plate and a second anchor plate, wherein the first anchor plate is arranged on one side of the post-cast strip and applies tensile force in the first direction to a first-end steel strand, and the first anchor plate is fixedly connected with the first-end steel strand in the post-cast strip; the second anchor ring is fixedly connected with a second-end steel strand in the post-cast strip and applies tensile force in the second direction to the second-end steel strand; the two ends of the first anchor plate and the two ends of the second anchor ring are fixedly connected with the connecting structure. The steel strand and the first anchor plate are connected through the clamping piece, and the requirement for the embedding precision of the steel strand in the length direction is low through the structure. And the anchor plate is sealed in the sleeve and is not interfered by concrete pouring of the post-cast strip, so that the reliability is high. The anchor plate is fixed in the anchor plate hole, and the anchor plate is uniformly stressed, so that the prestressed steel strand does not bend, and the reinforcing steel bar does not generate normal stress in the concrete.
