The composite insulation board connecting piece comprises a limiting piece, a connecting rod and an expansion assembly. The limiting piece and the expansion assembly are located at the two ends of the connecting rod correspondingly, and the limiting piece is used for being clamped to the outer side of a steel wire net frame on the composite insulation board. The expansion assembly penetrates through the composite insulation board and is driven by the connecting rod to expand and be clamped in the wall of the existing building.
