The invention discloses a flood control drainage device for municipal engineering. The flood control drainage device comprises a water level monitoring device arranged on the inner wall of a drainage well and used for monitoring the water level in the drainage well so as to judge whether a water outlet of the drainage well is blocked or not; the water level monitoring device is used for being installed on the inner wall of a drainage well and comprises a first box body, an electrolyte storage bag is arranged in a second box body, a battery assembly and a signal transmitting end electrically connected with the battery assembly are arranged in the second box body, and the water level monitoring device further comprises a puncturing device. The puncturing device is used for puncturing the electrolyte storage bag to supply power to the battery assembly and sending a signal through the signal transmitting end; as the water level monitoring device is mounted on the inner wall of the drainage well, when the drainage well is blocked, the piercing device is activated through hydraulic pushing to pierce the electrolyte storage bag, so that the battery assembly is activated to send a signal through the signal transmitting end, and the drainage well monitoring device has the advantages of saving manpower for troubleshooting, being accurate in monitoring and high in efficiency and the like.
