The skeleton dense type ultrathin overlay asphalt mixture is prepared from 93 to 95 parts by mass of aggregate, 5.5 to 5.8 parts by mass of rubber modified asphalt and 5 to 7 parts by mass of filler, the filler is mineral powder; the aggregate is basalt, the composition of the aggregate adopts dense gradation, and the maximum nominal particle size is 4.75 mm; the thickness of the cover face ranges from 0.8 cm to 1.5 cm. The skeleton compact type ultra-thin overlay asphalt mixture prepared by the invention has the characteristics of excellent high-temperature rutting resistance and low-temperature cracking resistance, high water damage resistance, long service life and the like; compared with the original pavement, the noise of the paved ultra-thin asphalt pavement is reduced by 2-3 decibels; the mixture can be widely applied to rapid maintenance engineering of asphalt pavements and bridge floors, the service life of the pavements can be prolonged, the overall functions of the pavements are enhanced, and the driving comfort is improved.
