The invention discloses a method for improving carbonization rate and performance of a steel slag sample, which comprises the following steps: drying, grinding and screening steel slag to be treated, and collecting the screened raw material to obtain steel slag powder; mixing the steel slag powder with fly ash and water to obtain a mixture; and carrying out molding treatment on the mixture to obtain a steel slag test block, and carrying out carbonization maintenance on the steel slag test block. According to the method for improving the carbonization rate and performance of the steel slag sample, the problems of land resource waste and ecological environment pollution caused by massive stacking of metallurgical slag are relieved to a certain extent, meanwhile, the problem of CO2 emission is relieved, and carbon neutralization is promoted; and the resource utilization of the steel slag and CO2 can finally realize the increase of economic benefits.
