The polymer modified nickel slag waterproof mortar is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 60 to 80 parts of nickel slag powder, 20 to 40 parts of carbide slag, 2 to 5 parts of sodium sulfate, 40 to 50 parts of organic silicon modified epoxy emulsion, 10 to 16 parts of glass powder, 40 to 60 parts of water, 4 to 6 parts of auxiliaries, 4 to 6 parts of water reducing agent, 0.4 to 0.6 part of defoaming agent and 180 to 240 parts of ferronickel tailings. The waterproof mortar prepared by the invention has the advantages of high impermeability grade, high bonding strength and compressive strength, good flexibility, wear resistance, fluidity and impact resistance, easily available and cheap raw materials, convenient construction and simple preparation method. The nickel slag is used as a binding material, the industrial by-product carbide slag is used as an exciting agent, and the ferronickel tailings replace fine aggregate, so that the resource reutilization of wastes is realized, the energy waste of'two-grinding and one-burning 'of the cement is effectively avoided, and the method is energy-saving and environment-friendly.
