The invention relates to the technical field of bridge engineering, in particular to a U-shaped beam and an assembly type track. The U-shaped beam comprises a bottom plate, two webs and two upper flange plates; the two webs are connected to the two sides of the bottom plate in the preset direction correspondingly and are symmetrically arranged relative to the bottom plate. The two upper flange plates are connected with the two webs correspondingly and located at the ends, away from the bottom plate, of the webs. Wherein a polyester sound-absorbing cotton layer and a foam metal layer are arranged in the web plate. The U-shaped beam is high in prefabrication degree, the construction period can be shortened, the construction cost is reduced, and the influence on the environment is reduced; in addition, the self weight of the bridge can be reduced, the prestress efficiency is improved, the sound insulation and impact resistance are improved, the stress integrity is higher, and the safety of the structure is improved.
