The invention relates to the technical field of environmental governance, and discloses a low-dust type road surface leaf cleaning method for a municipal road. The method comprises the following steps: S1, a cleaning preparation stage: firstly, spraying a to-be-cleaned road section by adopting a spraying automobile to increase the air humidity of the road section and reduce dust flying; s2, a pre-cleaning stage, wherein a road section needing to be cleaned is preliminarily cleaned through a road surface sweeping vehicle, and leaves which are dissociated on the road surface and partially dissociated on the road surface can be cleaned away in the cleaning process; s3, in a deep cleaning stage, the remaining leaves are cleaned through rotary leaf cleaning equipment; s31, leaves are separated from the road surface, wherein the leaves attached to the road surface are blown up through airflow; and S32, adsorption of the leaves: the blown leaves are adsorbed by adopting negative pressure. By means of the mode, dust flying during road surface cleaning can be reduced, meanwhile, leaves attached to the road surface can be thoroughly cleaned, and compared with manual cleaning, more time and labor are saved.
