The invention relates to the technical field of water chilling units, in particular to an industrial water chilling unit which comprises a box body, an air inlet, an air outlet, filter screens and a protection mechanism, the air inlet and the air outlet are formed in the positions, close to the upper end, of the outer surfaces of the left side and the right side of the box body correspondingly, and the filter screens are arranged in the air inlet and the air outlet correspondingly; a water storage tank is formed in the outer surface of the upper end of the box body, protection mechanisms are arranged at the positions, corresponding to the air inlet and the air outlet, of the outer surface of the box body, each protection mechanism comprises a mounting frame, a protection blade, a first rotating rod, a second rotating rod, a gear and a driving assembly, and the first rotating rod and the second rotating rod are rotationally connected to the inner surface of the mounting frame. According to the device, by arranging the protection mechanism, the protection blades can be automatically closed in rainy days through flowing of rainwater, so that the probability that the rainwater enters from the air inlet or the air outlet is reduced, the adjacent protection blades can be automatically opened in sunny days, and the ventilation effect of the device is guaranteed.
