The invention discloses a prefabricated wallboard assembly type coating structure of a steel plate shear wall and a manufacturing method of the prefabricated wallboard assembly type coating structure. The prefabricated wallboard assembly type coating structure comprises a steel plate, the square steel pipes are positioned at two ends of the steel plate and are fixed on two opposite side surfaces of the steel plate; the U-shaped ribs are formed on the two opposite side surfaces of the steel plate; the U-shaped ribs on the same side surface of the steel plate are evenly arranged at intervals, and the U-shaped ribs on the different side surfaces of the steel plate are arranged in a staggered mode. The gaps between the square steel tube and the U-shaped ribs and the gaps between every two adjacent U-shaped ribs are filled with the heat preservation layers; and the composite wallboard is fixed on the U-shaped ribs and the square steel tubes through sunk screws and covers the outer side of the heat preservation layer. The composite wall has good sound insulation, waterproof and moistureproof performance, and the hanging capability of the wall is strong; in addition, in the construction process of the fabricated composite wall body, cast-in-place concrete is avoided, on-site wet construction is reduced, and the construction cost can be reduced.
