The pile driver for road construction comprises a power device and further comprises an impact mechanism, the impact mechanism is specifically composed of a sliding rail, supporting rods, an impact bin, a striking block, a thickening block, a motor B and a contact block, the sliding rail is welded to one side of the surface of the power device, the supporting rods are installed on the surface of the sliding rail, and the number of the supporting rods is two. An impact bin is welded to one side of the surface of the supporting rod, the inner wall of the impact bin is slidably connected with an impact block in cooperation with a sliding groove, a thickening block is welded to the inner wall of the impact bin, a motor B is installed on the surface of the impact bin, and a contact block is welded to the power output end of the motor B. The whole device is coherent in use and suitable for installation of a long road guardrail; and in addition, manual supporting is not needed in the piling process, and the probability of manual injury is greatly reduced.
