The invention discloses a connecting rod linkage type hatch cover overturning locking mechanism and an overturning locking method thereof, and relates to the technical field of overturning and locking of spacecraft hatch covers. The hatch cover connecting mechanism solves the problems that an existing hatch cover connecting mechanism cannot meet rapid and stable unlocking opening, closing unlocking and closing locking, and a hatch cover cannot be opened possibly due to the fact that a locking mechanism and a turnover mechanism operate at the same time. The turnover mechanism, the locking mechanism and the crane are matched to complete the turnover and locking functions of the hatch cover, and a radial lock and an axial lock in the locking mechanism are designed to be crank connecting rod locking mechanisms.
