The decoration engineering ladder capable of being erected on the steps comprises two ladder assemblies which are in bilateral symmetry, extending frame cavities with downward openings are formed in the two ladder assemblies correspondingly, telescopic assemblies are arranged in the two extending frame cavities correspondingly, and the ladder can be erected on the steps through the telescopic assemblies; supporting assemblies for balancing the stress condition of the ladder are arranged in the two telescopic assemblies; through sliding between the horizontal frame and the extension frames, the front pedal can be kept in a horizontal state when the extension distance of the single extension frame is adjusted, so that the extension distance of the extension frame on the corresponding side can be adjusted when the device is used for coping with stairs with different heights, and therefore, the device is vertically erected on the stairs; and meanwhile, through the limiting effect of the wedge-shaped friction blocks, it is ensured that the horizontal frames on the left side and the right side keep balanced stress in the climbing process of the operating personnel, and the use safety of the device is further improved.
