The invention discloses a subway underneath passing highway shield construction method which comprises the steps that a shield tunneling machine is adopted to conduct tunneling in a rock-soil layer until the distance between the shield tunneling machine and a highway is not smaller than 12-15 m, the posture of the shield tunneling machine is corrected in multiple times, and the posture requirement of a designed tunneling path is met when the shield tunneling machine conducts tunneling to the position 12-15 m away from the highway; starting from the position 12-15 meters away from the highway, the tunneling speed of the shield tunneling machine is controlled to be 30-50 mm/min, the thrust is controlled to be 12000-15000 KN, and the torque is controlled to be 2000-3000 KN. M; and the shield tunneling machine is tunneled to penetrate through the highway and is tunneled to a position which is not less than 12 meters away from the highway. The method has the advantages that disturbance to surrounding soil can be effectively reduced, land subsidence can be effectively controlled, safety is high, construction is easy and convenient, and operation, popularization and implementation are easy.
