The invention discloses a silicon carbide plastic refractory for a grate furnace. The silicon carbide plastic refractory is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 40-45 parts of silicon carbide aggregate, 25-30 parts of silicon carbide powder, 10-15 parts of corundum aggregate, 5-10 parts of alumina micro powder, 5-8 parts of a binding agent, 1-2 parts of metal silicon powder and 0.1-0.3 part of a dispersing agent, and the binding agent is obtained by mixing an MgTiAl hydrotalcite intercalation material with silica sol. The silicon carbide plastic refractory for the grate furnace is high in strength, excellent in corrosion resistance, wear resistance and high-temperature-resistant stability and long in service life.
