The fabricated steel structure building connecting piece comprises a connecting disc, a first fixing sleeve is welded to the top of the connecting disc, a second fixing sleeve is welded to the bottom of the connecting disc, and a steel beam arm connecting base is fixedly connected to the outer wall of one side of the connecting disc through bolts; a steel beam arm supporting seat is welded to the outer wall of the side, away from the connecting disc, of the steel beam arm connecting seat, and a steel beam arm is fixedly connected to the top of the steel beam arm supporting seat through bolts. According to the fabricated steel structure building connecting piece and the construction method thereof, through multi-angle adaptive mounting and fixing of the steel beam arm connecting seat on the connecting disc, steel beam arms needing to be fixed in different directions can be supported, and then fabricated steel structure connection with different requirements is adapted; through the first rotating plate and the second rotating plate which are rotatable and matched with supporting of the inclined plate, a triangular support structure can be formed by supporting of the two steel beam arms, and the connecting strength between the two steel beam arms is improved.
