The invention provides an intermittent air pressure emptying device which is used for a water storage pond and comprises a shell, an emptying assembly and a gas conveying assembly. A hollow structure is arranged in the shell, the emptying assembly is arranged on the shell and communicated with the water storage pond, and an on-off switch is arranged at the communicating position of the emptying assembly and the water storage pond. When water in the water storage tank needs to be drained, the on-off switch is in an on state at the moment, the hollow structure communicates with the outside atmosphere through the gas conveying assembly, and the water in the water storage tank enters the hollow structure through the emptying assembly; when the water in the hollow structure continues to be discharged to the downstream, the on-off switch is in a closed state at the moment, the hollow structure is filled with air through the gas conveying assembly, and the water is discharged from the hollow structure through the emptying assembly; therefore, the drainage mode of emptying the water storage tank through self air pressure in the prior art is replaced, and the technical effects of simplicity in operation and low cost are achieved.
