The invention provides a method for constructing a sewage buffer pool, which comprises the following steps: a bottom plate presetting step: arranging a bottom plate at a foundation pit for mounting the sewage buffer pool; a side packaging plate assembling step: assembling a side packaging plate on the bottom plate to form the side part of the sewage buffer tank; a top splice plate splicing step: splicing a top splice plate at the top of the side packaging plate to form the top of the sewage buffer tank; and a sealing step: pouring and sealing the peripheral part of the water storage tank to form the sewage buffer tank. According to the invention, the side packaging plate is inserted and fixed in the mounting groove and is detachably connected with the top splicing plate, and meanwhile, the sealing body is arranged outside the side packaging plate and the top splicing plate, so that an assembled sewage buffer pool is quickly formed on site; the technical defects that in the prior art, a sewage buffer pool formed in a cast-in-place mode is long in construction period, tedious in operation and extremely low in construction efficiency are effectively overcome.
