The invention discloses an electric pole protection method. The method comprises the following steps that (1) dust on the surface of an electric pole is cleaned; (2) coating an AB glue layer; (3) after the AB glue layer is dried, the AB glue layer is coated with an anti-ultraviolet layer; and (4) after the smeared anti-ultraviolet layer is dried, a transparent paint layer is smeared. The AB glue is smeared on one hand, the effect of reinforcing the rigidity and strength of the electric pole can be achieved, on the other hand, the climbing friction force of maintainers can be increased, the anti-ultraviolet layer is added, the AB glue layer can be protected, aging damage caused by long-term ultraviolet irradiation of the AB glue layer can be avoided, the varnish layer is smeared, the effect of protecting the ultraviolet layer is achieved, and the service life of the electric pole is prolonged. The overall electric pole protection effect is better, the electric pole damage probability is reduced, and the service life of the electric pole is prolonged.
