The invention belongs to the technical field of anode carbon blocks, and particularly relates to a preparation process of a prebaked anode carbon block. Comprising the following steps: crushing, grinding and screening a dry material to obtain aggregate and powder; putting the aggregate and the powder into a mixing and kneading pot for dry mixing, then adding the preheated binder for wet mixing, and obtaining a carbon block raw material after the mixing and kneading temperature requirement is completely met and the mixing and kneading temperature requirement is kept for a certain time; placing the carbon block raw material in a roasting furnace, and fixing the shape of the carbon block raw material by using a mixture of coke powder and quartz sand as a filler to obtain a primary roasted carbon block; putting the primary roasted carbon block into a preheating furnace for preheating, and putting the preheated primary roasted carbon block into an impregnation tank for primary impregnation treatment to obtain a primary impregnated carbon block; and carrying out secondary roasting on the primary impregnated carbon block to obtain the anode carbon block. The preparation process simplifies the process flow, is simple to operate, and improves the stability of the internal structure of the carbon block.
