The pollutant intercepting device comprises a fixing plate, two first intercepting nets, a second intercepting net, a first buoy and a second buoy, the fixing plate is arranged at the bottom of the river channel, the second intercepting net is connected with the two first intercepting nets, and the bottoms of the first intercepting nets and the bottom of the second intercepting net are both connected with the top of the fixing plate; the first buoy and the second buoy are connected with the first intercepting net and the second intercepting net respectively, a lifting mechanism is arranged on the fixing plate and comprises a motor for driving a winding reel to rotate, the winding reel and a connecting rope, the motor and the winding reel are arranged on the fixing plate, and the connecting rope is connected with the winding reel and the second buoy. When the ship does not pass, pollutants are intercepted by the first intercepting net and the second intercepting net; when a ship passes through a river channel, the motor enables the second floating barrel and the second intercepting net to move in the direction close to the fixing plate through the connecting rope, and therefore daily ship passing can be met while pollutants are intercepted.
