The invention discloses a door body structure and a household appliance. The door body structure comprises a door body, a clamping piece and a switch piece. The door body is connected to a box body of the household appliance in an openable and closable mode, and the box body comprises a limiting part. The clamping piece is arranged on the door body. The switch piece can drive the clamping piece to move between a first position and a second position relative to the door body. Wherein the switch piece extends into the door body from the outer side of the door body, can move relative to the door body, and can be matched with the clamping piece. When the clamping piece is located at the first position, the clamping piece is clamped on the limiting part so as to limit opening of the door body. And under the condition that the clamping piece is located at the second position, the clamping piece is separated from the limiting part, so that the door body can be opened. According to the door body structure and the household appliance, the switch piece is pressed to drive the clamping piece to move to the second position so that locking of the clamping piece and the limiting part can be relieved, buckling force between the clamping piece and the limiting part does not need to be overcome when the door is opened and closed, silent door opening and closing are achieved, and large noise cannot be generated.
