The invention relates to a drainage system in a deep foundation pit basement, which comprises a foundation slab, a structural floor slab and an outer wall, semicircular PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pipes are embedded in internal corners of the foundation slab and the structural floor slab, and the semicircular PVC pipes on the upper layer and the lower layer are communicated through vertical PVC pipes; a horizontal hydrophobic plate is laid on the foundation slab, terrace concrete is poured on the horizontal hydrophobic plate and the structural floor slab except for the area where the PVC pipes are laid, and cement mortar is laid on the semicircular PVC pipes embedded in the structural floor slab; a vertical hydrophobic plate and a cement pressure plate are fixed to the drainage position of the outer wall, and other areas are coated with painting layers. The invention further discloses a construction method of the drainage system in the deep foundation pit basement. The horizontal drainage plates, the vertical drainage plates and the cement pressure plates are constructed, and the semicircular PVC pipes and the vertical PVC pipes are arranged on the periphery of the structure, so that smooth drainage of the whole drainage system is ensured, leakage can be thoroughly solved, and the whole basement is free of leakage points.
