The invention discloses a transport mother vehicle and a vehicle carrier. The transporting mother vehicle comprises a traveling frame, a driving mechanism and a lifting platform; the traveling frame comprises a bottom frame and two side supports connected to the two opposite sides of the bottom frame respectively, one ends of the two side supports are fixedly connected with the bottom frame, and the other ends of the two side supports extend towards the upper end of the bottom frame. The driving mechanism is installed on the traveling crane frame and comprises a power assembly and a plurality of connecting belts, the first end of each connecting belt is connected with the power output end of the power assembly, and the second end of each connecting belt extends towards the bottom frame after winding the top ends of the two side supports and is connected with the side end of the lifting table; the power output end of the power assembly rotates forwards or reversely so that the second end of the driving connecting belt can move in the direction close to or away from the bottom frame. According to the scheme, the lifting stability of the lifting platform can be improved.
