A device for automatically cleaning a guardrail comprises a rack, a transverse sliding rod, a lockable sliding block, a cleaning mechanism, a limiting stopper and a hydraulic oil tank, and through the design of a special piston cylinder, a set of hydraulic equipment drives a piston rod to rotate and a hydraulic rod to reciprocate up and down; therefore, the defect that traditional guardrail cleaning equipment cannot conduct cleaning work in a two-degree-of-freedom mode is overcome, and the guardrail cleaning equipment is simple in structure and high in adaptability.
