The invention discloses a plugging device for floating transportation of an offshore large-diameter steel pile and a construction method.The plugging device is composed of a guide block, a lining ring, a sealing device, a buoy, a clamping fixture, a torsion limiting floating box and a control module, and fixing and clamping are achieved through the clamping fixture and the end wall of the steel pile; two sets of sealing devices are arranged in the annular direction where the plugging device makes contact with the interior of the steel pile, the steel pile forms a watertight buoy, and the offshore floating transportation requirement is met; torsion limiting buoyancy tanks which are symmetrically arranged left and right are arranged at the rear end of the plugging device, so that the steel piles can be prevented from being twisted in water during transportation; by means of the gas injection sealing device, good joint filling adaptability is achieved, roundness deformation of the steel pile can be adapted, and sealing is reliable; the control module can realize remote operation, the release operation is simple, and quick release can be realized; the whole set of plugging device is simple in structure, convenient to install and operate, capable of effectively plugging external seawater and preventing the seawater from entering the steel pile, good in installation adaptability, easy to manufacture and good in economical efficiency.
