The invention relates to a door closing detection method for an intelligent door lock, which comprises the following steps: monitoring the starting time of a door closing action after the intelligent door lock is unlocked by acquiring the unlocking state of the intelligent door lock in real time; if the starting time is smaller than a first preset threshold value, whether door closing is in place or not is monitored based on a gyroscope sensor; if the starting time is larger than the second preset threshold value, whether the door is closed in place or not is monitored based on a geomagnetic sensor. Under the condition that the door frame does not need to be transformed, the reliability of door closing is higher, and the cost is lower.
