The invention relates to an intelligent-operation automobile glove box, in particular to a top-down rotary glove box, which at least comprises a box body and a shell, and the box body is rotatably supported in the shell, so that the box body can be overturned and opened by means of the gravity of the box body when the box body is unlocked; the electromagnetic lock can lock the automobile glove box; the at least one driving device can drive the box body to rotate and close; the detection device is used for detecting whether the automobile glove box is in an open state or a closed state; the control unit is in communication connection with the electromagnetic lock, the driving device and the detection device and is used for controlling unlocking of the electromagnetic lock and starting and stopping of the driving device, and when the control unit receives a control signal in a closed state, the control unit controls the electromagnetic lock to unlock the automobile glove box; and when the control unit receives a control signal in the open state, the driving device is controlled to drive the box body to rotate and close.
