The invention relates to the technical field of building materials, in particular to high-substitution-rate desert sand concrete as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The high-substitution-rate desert sand concrete is prepared from raw materials including cement, fly ash, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate, the fine aggregate is common sand and desert sand, and the desert sand accounts for 60-80% of the total mass of the fine aggregate; the fly ash accounts for 10-30% of the total mass of the cement and the fly ash, the water-binder ratio is 0.42-0.55, and the sand ratio is 33-37%. According to the desert sand concrete with the high substitution rate, desert sand resources can be fully utilized under the condition that the performance of the concrete is guaranteed, and the chloride ion penetration resistance of the concrete can be remarkably improved.
