The invention relates to an assembly type building technology, and discloses an assembly type steel structure light plate building which comprises a steel structure body, a floor slab structure and an enclosure structure, and the steel structure body comprises a frame structure formed by connecting vertical supporting columns and transverse steel beams; the floor slab structure comprises a floor slab connected with the frame structure; the enclosure structure comprises outer wallboards and inner wallboards which are connected with a frame structure, a connecting assembly is arranged between the outer wallboards and the frame structure, and the connecting assembly comprises hook bolts penetrating through the top and the bottom of each outer wallboard, connecting angle steel fixed to the edges of the upper surface and the lower surface of a floor structure and a connecting supporting plate fixed to the outer side surface of a floor. The bottom of the external wall panel abuts against the connecting supporting plate. One end of the hook bolt is fixedly connected with the frame structure. A curtain wall and an outer window are arranged on the outer wallboard. The load of the external wall panel is borne through the connecting angle steel and the connecting supporting plate, flexible connection between the external wall panel and the steel structure body is achieved, the building performance is ensured, and the assembly degree and the construction efficiency are improved.
